In Memory of Tony White
Tony White, along with his wife Pat, have been Mo-Kan Members since November of 2013. Tony served with his beautiful English Springer Spaniel partners, Shelby and Riley as well as Hunter, a Portuguese Water Dog. He regularly volunteered at Providence Medical Center/ Providence Place, Truman Medical Center’s Lakewood campus, Centerpoint Hospital, Healthcare Resort of Kansas City, Kansas, Liberty Oaks Elementary School as well as many special events in the KC area. He actively supported new Pet Partners Handler Training and team evaluations.
Tony served as a Member at Large on the Mo-Kan Board. His service was exemplary and he impacted the lives of so many people. Prior to his untimely death, Tony was an active member of the committee established to revise the Mo-Kan website. He was passionate about his service and dedicated to the goal that the website reflects the professionalism, compassion, and reach of Mo-Kan Pet Partners.
The website was among Tony’s last projects for Mo-Kan and Pat knew he would want her to continue to support the goal. She designated all gifts in memory of Tony be directed to the website project. These gifts have contributed to a very significant portion of the web site development expenses.
He was taken from us too soon and he is greatly missed. It is with love and great appreciation that we honor Tony White for his service, commitment, and gift to us and his community.
We miss you, Tony.
